I loved the first episode! It was a mix of slice of life/calm moments, fights, mysterious moments, sad moments, cute/sweet moments, learning moments and much more. The animation is great, and overall I just loved this first episode and I feel that the season will get even better and better!

Eh voilà, nous sommes arrivés à la fin.......Normalement vu la qualité tout du long, retraçant parfaitement le jeu de Sega, avec une super animation, de très beaux combats, une Intrigue palpitante, pourquoi n'y aurait-il pas une saison 2....Mon petit doigt me dit que cela sera le cas...... Wait and see......@+Ps: surtout avec une fin comme ça............

I have regrettably been RPS's resident anime guy for a long time, but I'm not so excited about this. The animation looks pretty rough to me, at least when compared to Netflix's increasingly swish productions. Plus, a lot of what made Shenmue weird and interesting was its unusual commitment to simulating the world. Stripped of its interactivity, I worry it's a fairly straightforward martial arts revenge story - not exactly new ground for anime.
The animation seems pretty clean and action looks fluent for the most part. I say most as I want to see how they handle more fights before I give a full okay on that one. But for the fights we did see the blows had real impact and it sold well. 59ce067264
